〈April 8〉

I went to Shinjyuku-Gyoen to see cherry blossoms with my girl friend.

A flower viewing is our established custom at Shinjyuku-gyoen on April.

It was fine day, so there were many people.

The cherry trees had not in full bloom yet.

We next went to Chidoriga-Buch at night.

They were in full bloom and were illuminated, so they were beautiful very much!

They were so beautiful that I felt mysterious a little.

〈April 1〉

I went to Ueno science museum to see an exhibition: The Inca Empire.

I was excited very much! There were many rare valuables. Especially, mummies were amazing! But my girl friend couldn't see that because she is timid.

The 3D theater was the best part of the exhibition. Machu Picchu's a dynamic moving image was showed.

The exhibition was closed at 5 pm. It was so early. So we couldn't see it enough.....

3/29 精密検査

I went to a hospital to have a complete liver check-up.

To tell the truth, the result of a medical examination that I have had some days ago was not good......

The decision was rank E. So to speak, something abnormal showed up on the X-rays.

I was so nervous. I thought that maybe I had a cancer of the liver.

I had a CT scanner test. It was first time for me to have it.

A result was......not bad. "No problem!" the doctor said. I was very relieved.

〈March 24〉

I went to Ibaraki prefecture to participate in a wedding ceremony of my friend.

When I arrived at a chapel, it rained a little. But by the start of a ceremony, it had been good weather.

We, the gests of a ceremony, sent up many balloons to celebrate the bride and the groom.

We had a dinner, talked with them, and took photos.

〈March 14〉

March 14 was White day. White day is a unique event in Japan. I've heard that this event is held in Korea, Taiwan and a part of China. We give presents for our girlfriend at this day.

I presented some sweets and a photo album for my girl friend.

We went to many places, for example Okinawa in summer, Kobe in winter. We took photos every time we traveled. So, there were a lot of photos. I directed these photos and made a photo book.

She was overjoyed to get this. I was happy too

〈March 12〉

I had a complete physical examination on March 12.

I arrived at a hospital at 13:30. I was nervous a little because it was long time for me to have a physical examination.

At first, I took the lung X-ray. Next I took a blood sample.

The hardest examination was a stomach one. I took a barium meal. It tasted awful.
I was turned on the bed again and again, and took X-ray.

The examination took about 3 hours. I was tired very much.

March 10, my girl friend came to my house.

She came to my house last summer.

When she arrived, my pet dog Tiny run toward her with wagging his tail.

Tiny remembered her certainly. He was very happy. His eyes were sparkling.

My girl friend and I looked my old albums, watched TV, and played with Tiny.

Next day, we went to SANRIO PUROLAND at Tama Center.

This place is near my house, but I haven't visited ever.

It was first time for me, but for her it was twice. She came here when she was a child.

There were many children.

The parade was nice!!

3/9 久しぶりにプラネタリウム

Today, I went to a planetarium at Ikebukuro with my girl friend.

It was a long time that I went to a planetarium.

When I was a child, I like stars and constellations. But I have lost my interest gradually about those as I grow up.

The program of a planetarium was Stars and Auroras.

It was very beautiful. I was cured very much.

By the way, I heard that we can see annular a solar eclipse on May 21.

3/8 A Beautiful Mind

I watched A Beautiful Mind featuring Russel Crowe.

This is a story of John Nash, a mathematician.

He was a genius but had schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia......this disease is very mysterious one. So to speak; only human has this disease and other animals doesn’t have ever.

Schizophrenic person often have hallucinations or auditory hallucinations.

Nash suffered from these too. But he had overcome it gradually and won a Nobel Prize finally.

I study schizophrenia at university now, so this movie was good lesson for me.

This is my pet dog named Tiny.

He is 9 years old. My family loves him very much!

He has had chest trouble since 3 or 4 years old. He has to take tablet every day when he has a meal.

Last year, his physical condition was not good. But recently he has been in good health.

A veterinary surgeon has said that he has been in good health gradually.

Tiny is very happy when I come back home. He run toward me with wagging his tail every time.

I went to a library at Chiyoda Ward, because I listened to a certain lecture.

A lecture started at 18:30 and ended at 20:00.

It was interesting for me because a theme of the lecture was that related matters of my study.

It was a good lesson for me.

Today, I went to Yuraku-cho with my girlfriend, and had a lunch.

We went to eat to Asian restaurant, a lunch buffet style.

It was delicious! We ate too much.

A carry, nasi goreng, spring roll, spicy chicken and so on.

Every Friday, I've studied with my university's seminar fellows at a university's library.

We've studied about Kantianism. We've read Kritik der reinen Vernunft.

As everyone knows, this book is very difficult. But it’s indispensable for a scholar who studies a philosophy.

Today we studied for about 4 hours.

It was so hard, but very instructive for me.

Yesterday, I reserved the medical examination in the hospital.

I have to have it on March 12.

Every year, I have to have a medical examination once by the school regulations.

I've lived an irregular life every day. I stay up late　without meaning to......

Maybe I'm in good health, but for 2 weeks until a medical examination I want to take care of my health a little.

It snowed very much this day.

Maybe the day that snowed such a much was first time in this year.

It's unusual in this district for about 20cm of snow to accumulate on the ground.

It was very cold, but I had to go to a university to hand in receipts of research expenses.

The train was delayed. But by the favor, I could read a book for a long time.

I read Sein und Zeit.

2/27 母の誕生日

February 27 was my mother's birthday.

I presented coffee cup for her. It was Wedge Wood's one.

She was surprised and happy very much!

My mother, father and I went to eat lunch.

We ate at Keio Plaza Hotel.

2/9～12 和歌山出張

From February 9 to 12, I went to Kii-Tanabe of Wakayama prefecture to study and to attend a lecture.

It takes about 5 hours to arrive there by train.

I've written a new thesis now. So I wrote it in the train. And during my stay in Kii-Tanabe, I continued to write it, so I completed it nearly.

I went to Toukei shrine on February 11. It's very famous shrine here. I prayed that my dissertation will pass smoothly and my girlfriend's little sister will pass the entrance examination to a university.

1/28 博士論文提出

January 25, I handed in my dissertation finally.

I had written it for about 3 years. And I had looked it over again and again.

I felt quite relieved, but I felt lonely a little. Because I love my dissertation, so what I part with it makes me lonely.

From February, an examining committee will start judging my dissertation.

And maybe a public hearing will be held on May.

I went to pray Meiji-Jingu shrine. There were sooo many people.

I pray that my dissertation will pass and I can get a doctorate, and more I'll become an assistant lecturer

Anyhow, I have to hand in my dissertation on January 31.

And if it'll pass, I'll take a test to be an assistant lecturer.

神戸旅行④

〈December 23〉

We went to sightseeing to Sannomiya. This city is the biggest in Kobe.

We went to have a lunch at 15th hall. This is the hall which American ambassador stayed long ago.

The building was old but had the flavor of the Meiji era.

We ate hash and rice. It was delicious.

A coffee after a lunch was good, and sugar was cute.

We went back to Tokyo at night.

It was nice trip!!
